The North Georgia Auto Club website is an information site. It has no sign-up, contact or comment forms, no advertising, and no tracking or analytics. You can read every public page without giving us any personal information.
Payments through PayPal
The dues, storage and other payment buttons take you to PayPal’s website. PayPal handles your payment and card details under PayPal’s privacy statement; the club never sees your card or bank details. PayPal sends the club a payment confirmation with your name, email address and the amount paid, which we use only to record your dues or fees.
Emailing the club
If you email [email protected], club officers use your message and email address only to reply to you and handle your request. We don’t share them or add you to any mailing list.
Cookies and server logs
The club website doesn’t set cookies for ordinary visitors. Officers who log in get the standard WordPress login cookies. Cloudflare, which protects the site and speeds it up, may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Like most websites, our web host and Cloudflare keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
Officer accounts
Club officers have website logins so they can see the private crib schedule and, for some, edit pages. Their accounts hold only a name, email address and password, used only for website access.
Links to other sites
Map links (Google, Bing, MapQuest), training videos on YouTube and the PayPal buttons go to other companies’ websites. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow those links.
